Update:

Growing in a new direction!

The Noggin Podcast was archived in 2021 and will transition soon to launch a new activism podcast.

This upcoming creation will explore the challenge of "composting"  outdated mental health care for new community practices that meaningfully support people of color, lgbt+, and low-income individuals while also sharing resources for reciprocity between mental health & financial growth.

About the Creator:

I hope your day is flowing gently. I’m Kyarra Keele!

Beyond podcast creation, I'm an author, mental health activist centering people of color,  lgbt+ and low-income individuals, with a background in finance. I poured my heart & soul into creating this podcast from 2019-2021 to do my part in educating & empowering my community through cozy & compassionate mental health content. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Finance and my Bachelor's degree in Spanish Studies from Santa Clara University.

I'm also the Director of Finance & Writer in Residence at SLAC (Support A Living Artist Collective). SLAC is a NYC-based experimental creative studio & audio-visual production space where I'm grateful to work in collaboration to run with four other beautiful artists & women of color. We are dedicated to bringing together & supporting the arts community through curated events/shows, educational workshops, resource sharing, and social media to address the racial discrepancies within the art world.
